Bang!

Found myself in a daze last week and ended up watching Falling Down due to a lack of interest in all other available viewing options at the time. As I watched Michael Douglas’ character exact his brand of justice on the unsuspecting populous of Los Angeles for their incompetence, myriad micro aggressions, and overt sadism, it dawned on me this movie should be classified as Boomer Porn.

I was working up a post sure to be filled with fun anecdotes and screen grabs of the wearied everyman character juxtaposed against images and accounts of Boomer’s losing it over the past year. Then it happened again! Another individual expressed his emotions with a gun; taking lives and further warping the sense of security that we all take for granted.

So I thought it would more appropriate to direct everyone’s attention to a bit by a funny, funny man, Mr. Jim Jeffries. The man makes such an amazing point in a palatable way. There really is no excuse for the senseless gun violence that afflicts America everyday.
